Biography: At the age of 4 Sarah was discovered by a agent who was searching for new talents. After her discovery she auditioned for a role in the movie An Invasion Of Privacy which she got. Short after she filmed a Burger king commercial which got very famous for criticising Mc Donalds.


In 1992 Sarah starred in the soap opera Swan's Crossing that led to her breakthrough and gave her a role in the TV shows All my children. The show had a big impact on her career and 1995 she won her first award, a Daytime Emmy Award for Young Leading Actress. After the Emmy she joined the cast of the new Tv-show Buffy The Vampire Slayer, she wanted the role as Cordelia but Joss Whendon (The Creator) gave her the leading role as Buffy Summers.


The show lasted for 7 seasons and made Gellar a Tv-icon all over the world. But Sarah's not only known for her appearances in TV she is well known on the big screens too, in movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, Scooby-Doo and The Grudge (US).


At the making of I Know What You Did Last Summer she met the love of her life (Freddie), but it was not until a few years later they started dating. September 1, 2002, Gellar and Freddie Prinze JR Got married and they are still living as husband and wife. In 2004 Sarah starred in the US remake of The Grudge (JU-ON) and lived 3 months of her life in Japan, one of the greatest experiences in her life.
